Chief Minister Sindh, Qaim Ali Shah chaired a high-level meeting to evaluate the security situation in the metropolis. The meeting was also attended by Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik.
The meeting evaluated target killing as well as the tension between different political parties in the city. Apart from Malik, the meeting was also attended by DG Rangers, IG Sindh, and other officials.
During the meeting it was decided that indiscriminate action will be taken against criminal elements in the city.
Karachi once again witnessed a wave of violence over the course of the last week triggered by political killings. The violence has led to great economic turmoil in the city which is the financial capital of Pakistan.
